WoW The War Within: Beta Release Time (2024)

World of Warcraft is one of the most influential MMOs of all time. Being released in 2004, the game is still going strong today, and that is proven by the fact that the game is releasing a new expansion sometime during 2024.

Blizzard recently announced that the game would be entering beta access soon, and that time is coming much sooner than fans may have originally realized. Here's everything players need to know about when the beta access will start.

When Does The World Of Warcraft The War Within Beta Start?

Blizzard has announced that the beta for The War Within is going to start on June 5, 2024. Players who have access to the beta will be allowed to hop on and start exploring the world at this point. Those who have signed up for the beta will need to check their emails before then to see if they have been selected for access to the beta. If access has been given, they can select the beta option from the game version menu in their Blizzard Client. However, as of now, Blizzard hasn't announced the exact time that the beta will be open for access. Since they usually do updates around 7 AM PDT, it is possible that they could release the beta then, though that is not confirmed at all.

What Is The War Within Beta?

The War Within beta is how players can gain access to the expansion before it is released to the public. In order to do so, players can sign up on Blizzard's website. However, signing up does not guarantee that players will be invited to join the beta. Instead, anyone who purchased the Epic Edition of the game will automatically be invited. Everyone else will need to sign up and hope that they are selected. If they are, they will receive an email with instructions on joining the beta.
