Some Quick Answers to Common Questions

What are your hours?

Sunday-Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday-Saturday: 10am-3pm

How do I contact you?

Email is best.

You can reach us at oldtimerclock@gmail.com

If you would prefer, you can contact us through this form.

Is my item ready?

If you haven't received a call, email, or text from us telling you its ready then it is safe to assume your item is not ready.

If you believe your item should be ready, either because someone in our shop told you it would be or it has been more than six monthssince you approved the repair, the best way to reach out to us is email.

How long do repairs take?

Starting August 1, 2020 our repairs can take six months or more.

We will call you as soon as its ready regardless of how long it takes, so there is no need for you to call or email us asking about the status.

Can you give me an estimate?

The best way to get an accurate estimate is to bring your item in.

We give a free estimate, but without seeing the item it can be incredibly hard to give you an accurate estimate.

If you are given an estimate before bringing in your item, the estimate will change.

ESTIMATES DO NOT INCLUDE TAXES. BY NOT PAYING TAXES, YOU ARE TAKING MONEY FROM BUSINESSES, NOT THE GOVERNEMENT. We are still required to pay taxes on your service unless your have a tax exemption for a business. In this case you are required to provide us with your tax exemption information.

Why are you closed so early and so many days?

We are a small business with a small staff and a LOT of work.

On average, we are taking in 20 clocks per week (this doesn't include while-you-wait services, watch repairs, jewelry repairs, or picking up items). We have 3 repairmen on staff.

This means we have a lot of customers coming in and contacting us; however, only a few people to do the work, so we are open fewer hours to allow our repairmen customer-free times to completerepairs and keep service times shorter.

What if I am Not Satisfied?

Please reach out to us with the details of why your experience was dissatisfying and how you feel we could remedy the situation.

The more details the better, and the best way to reach us is via email oldtimerclock@gmail.com

We often check emails and submissions from our website during the hours that we are closed and it is the best way to ensure a response.

Why don't you update me regularly?

In short, we have hundreds of customers and hundreds of repairs that need to be done. That means more than 20hours per week to make the average 5 minute phone call to most, but not all, of our customers.

If your item has been here more than 6 CONSECUTIVE monthsfor repairs and you would like regular updates, please email us and we can put you on our schedule for a monthly email update.
